S01E04 GAST: ARNE JYSCH (DER NASSE FISCH, WAVE AND SMILE)

Der Comicautor, Illustrator und Storyboarder hat in den vergangenen Jahren nämlich mit dem selben Problem zu kämpfen gehabt, wie der Regisseur der im Herbst startenden Sky Deutschland/ARD-Serie „Babylon Berlin“: wie adaptiert man den ersten Band der erfolgreichen Bestseller-Reihe des Autors Volker Kutscher angemessen für ein anderes Medium? Im Gegensatz zu Tykwer, der für die teuerste deutsche Serienproduktion aller Zeiten mit einer riesigen Produktionsmaschinerie ausgestattet in einer akribisch nachgebauten Kulisse des Studio Babelsberg angehen konnte, war Jysch ganz auf sich alleine gestellt, um die Essenz der Geschichte für seine Graphic Novel zu verdichten. Damit in Serie zu gehen, plant er eigentlich nicht, und dennoch ist er ein passender Gast für den Podcast, denn es geht ums Erzählen, um Dramaturgie, Ästhetik, Recherche und kreative Entscheidungen.
